BUFC AGM 2024

As we reflected on the amazing 2024 Season on Friday night at our Season Celebration Dinner, the BUFC committee are already deep into planning for 2025. Our AGM (7pm, Monday 4th Nov, The Clubhouse, Tanunda) is a chance to refresh and renew our committee. All positions are open, so we invite you to consider how you can get on board.

2025 will be a special year for several reasons:

1. We move into our amazing new facilities in a couple of weeks.
2. Our memberships will likely increase to approximately 380 with up to 29 teams for 2025.
3. We prepare to step into the State League 2 competition in 2026.

As such, we will need a large increase in volunteers to help manage the load. Our committee is a diverse bunch of people, who each bring different areas of expertise. We are all passionate about making BUFC the best sporting club in the Valley, but understanding the off-side rule is not a prerequisite to making a difference on our committee.

In addition to our executive team of President, Vice President, Administrator and Treasurer, roles we are looking to fill include:

Registrar
Line marking coordinator / team members
Canteen manager / team members
Bar manager / team members
Coaches co-ordinator
Team manager co-ordinator
Bottle recycling sorting team members
Fundraising / events team members
Merchandise – stock control, kit try-on day support
Social media support
Medical officer
Child Safety Officer

We would also love you to get on board the committee (or a sub-committee) if you have expertise in the following fields:

Scheduling
Hospitality
HR
Insurance
Applying for grants
Facility Maintenance and Management
Events / Function Management
Cleaning
Accounting / Finance
Administration
Business Management
Sponsorship connections
Legal
Taking and writing up minutes
IT support etc.
