Barossa United Football Club as of season 2021 has been affiliated with Football SA.
Local Development Squad
A great introduction to football for boys or girls between 4 and 7 years. All games are played mid-week at our grounds in Nuriootpa. No travel is required. All players will receive a t-shirt to wear to training.
FSA MINIROOS COMPETITION
We offer mixed teams from U6s to U11s, playing in the FSA (Football South Australia) Miniroos League. Teams compete on smaller pitches with modified rules to ensure maximum involvement and skill development of all players. Games are played against teams in the Northern Districts of Adelaide or at home.
FSA JUNIOR BOYS STATE LEAGUE (JSL)
U12s play 9-a-side and U13s to U17s play 11-a-side in competitive divisions against clubs across Adelaide.
FSA JUNIOR GIRL’S COMPETITION
We offer all-girl teams in U7s, U8s, U10s, U11s, U13s, and U14s. Teams compete in the FSA Girls competition against teams in suburbs across Adelaide.
SENIORS
Our seniors teams are both competitive and social, with a strong family oriented, mentoring culture. Senior Women play in the FSA Community Competition on Sundays and the Senior Men play in the SAASL Amateur League on Saturday.
GRADING SESSIONS
Grading sessions will be held in October each year to balance teams at the younger ages and to create competitive teams at the JSL level.
Uniform
BUFC uniforms and merchandise can be purchased from our apparel partners, Apelle via the link below:
The Development squad do not need to purchase a uniform, however, they are welcome to if they wish to wear it to training.
BUFC HOME TOP
Purchased each year and have the player’s surname printed on the back. Last season’s top cannot be worn due to player number changes and sponsor changes each year. We have a male and female cut available.
BUFC AWAY TOP
From season 2024 the away top will be purchased by the player each year and have the player’s surname printed on the back.
The cost of both jerseys is included in the fees in 2025.
BUFC SHORTS
Shorts do not change year to year but are an additional cost if required ($35). We have a male and female cut available.
BUFC SOCKS
All players (except the Development Squad) must have a pair of home socks and a pair of away socks. They are $15 per pair, but do not change design year to year. Players should always wear their home socks but ensure they take their sky blue away socks to every game in case of a sock clash.
BUFC PERSONALISED GOALIE TOPS
These can be purchased for players who commonly play as goal keepers. However, this should be in addition to their BUFC top. Goalie tops are allocated to each team for use by goal keepers.
Match Times & TraininG
Match times and locations can vary so individuals should check DRIBL for the appropriate times and venues. Junior teams and Senior Women in Season 2025 are scheduled for Sundays. Over 35’s will play on Friday nights at 7:30pm. Senior B’s and A’s teams will play Saturday at 1pm and 3pm respectively.
Training times for each team will be released by coaches early in 2025
